Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026
This policy is part of the Terms of Service of Sites Builder, the website builder operated by Walnut Grovez Inc. It says what you may publish with the service, what you may ask your visitors for, what happens when a site breaks the rules, and how to report one.
Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 years old. One account is for one person or organisation; you are responsible for every site published from it.
What you may not publish
You may not use a site built with the service to:
- Break the law or help anyone else do so: fraud, scams, phishing, counterfeit goods, unlicensed sale of regulated products, or anything illegal where you or your visitors are.
- Infringe rights: publish text, images, logos, fonts or other material you do not own or hold a licence for, or imitate another business or person.
- Deceive: impersonate a person or organisation, publish fake reviews, testimonials or endorsements, fake official notices, or pages built to mislead; run disinformation.
- Publish sexual content involving minors, in any form. We report this where the law requires, without notice.
- Publish sexually explicit content of real people without their consent, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Harm people: harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against anyone; glorify or incite violence, terrorism or self-harm; promote hatred against people because of a protected characteristic.
- Distribute malware or link to it, or use a site for phishing, credential harvesting or attacks on other systems.
- Exploit the service: probe, scan or overload it, share accounts, resell hosting, bypass plan limits, or use it to send spam.
Your visitors
- Ask your visitors only for what you need, and use their answers only for the purpose you told them. Where the law requires a privacy notice or consent on your site, provide it.
- Do not ask for payment card details, passwords, government identifiers, or health or other sensitive data through a form; the forms are not built for that.
- Do not send unsolicited messages to people who wrote to you.
Plan limits and fair use
Every plan has the limits shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Where a plan says unlimited, it is unlimited for the ordinary use of one customer: we do not meter it, but the rate limits that protect the service apply (60 form messages an hour per site, 5 a minute per sender, 5 exports a day, 10 MB per image), and we may ask you to reduce usage that is far beyond what one customer would reasonably need.
Enforcement
If a site breaches this policy we may pause it (visitors then see a notice and you see the reason), remove it, or end the account. For sexual content involving minors, malware and credible threats we act immediately and may notify the authorities; for everything else we contact the account holder before or promptly after we act. Fees already paid for a period in which an account is ended for breach are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.
Reporting a site
Email [email protected] with the subject "Abuse report" (or "Copyright notice" for infringement claims): the site's address, what the material is, why it breaks this policy or infringes your rights, and how to contact you. For a copyright claim include the work you believe is infringed, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and your signature. We acknowledge every report within two business days and tell you the outcome; if we pause or remove a site, its owner is told why and may reply with a counter-notice.
